Migration and the Mither Tongue

Wur project fur 2012 wis caalled Migration and the Mither Tongue.

OHS commissioned new research into Orkney Dialect from local dialect scholar Dr Tom Rendall. A series of talks were held throughout Orkney.

The project was made possible by funding and support from the Scapa Flow Landscape Partnership Scheme and Scotland’s Islands.
