What personal data we collect and why we collect it

If you are making a purchase from our online shop we will require your name, delivery address and email address. We will only use this for the purposes of the transaction and any necessary communications relating to the transaction. Unless you request that we do so we will not contact you regarding any other matter. We will not share your information with any third party.

Orkney Heritage Society will not store your credit card details.

If applying for membership of the Orkney Heritage Society (OHS) using our downloadable application form  the information that you supply on your membership application form is accessed only by Officers of the Society (& statutory bodies as required by Law). The Society will only use your data to contact you regarding your OHS membership or with information about the Society’s activities such as the annual Eynhallow Trip, book launches, Annual General Meetings or other special events. Orkney Heritage Society will never share your data with a third party.
